Dear Kix,
My story started over 20 years ago when I met Michelle. We were introduced by mutual friends at our local mall where we all hung out. After meeting, we all went our separate ways.
A few weeks later, that same group of friends came over to my place including Michelle. A few hours after everyone left Michelle came back! She thought she lost her earring in the house! We looked but never found it. Before she left though, I asked her out on a date and that led to a relationship that lasted almost 2 years. Of course, I found out there never was a lost earring; she just wanted to see me again.
Sadly, we broke up and both of us went on to other relationships and children. But, over 20 years later, we ran into each other at a local summer festival. We learned that both of us were recently out of relationships. We kept in touch, started talking more frequently and eventually went on a date!
Now, we’re both happier than ever and have been going strong for over five years! She is my soul mate and I believe it was fate that we ran into each other at that festival with more than 20 thousand people.
