Dear Kix,
I met the love of my forever at college. Yes, it sounds ordinary and cliché; however, it's anything but!
I was sitting on the couch in my cousin’s apartment when I looked out the window and saw a complete weirdo throwing a Frisbee at a tree. My cousin and I made fun of him for a good hour while he randomly threw a Frisbee all by himself!
A few weeks later, I am with my cousin at her boyfriend’s apartment and all of a sudden Frisbee-boy walks down the stairs! As if that wasn’t crazy enough, he began making cookies and then a roast… What guy does that?! Anyway, he hardly said a word to any of us and after he was done in the kitchen he kept to himself. So, I, trying to be nice, invited him to sit on the couch with me. I didn't think he would say yes, but he did. At that point I decided I was interested in this weird Frisbee-throwing, cookie-making boy!
I left that night totally flustered and already in love. However, I didn't have his phone number and that was a problem. So, I had to use my detective skills to retrieve it, and after about a week of some seriously hard work, I got it and we set up our very first date.
I'm happy to report that we celebrated three wonderful years together this past October 17th! Isn’t it funny how things have a way of working out?!
