Dear Kix,
My love story starts a few years back when my friend invited me to another friend’s house party. I didn't want to go, but I agreed, and there was a very cute boy there. Sadly, I learned he had a girlfriend, so I didn't pursue him. But, when I got home and logged onto Facebook, there was a message from him saying "We should hang out." We did but ultimately went our separate ways.
A few years later we started seeing each other again, but we weren’t exclusive. Unfortunately, I had to leave for a month, and while I was away, I learned he had a new girlfriend. Well, at that moment, feeling like I lost him, I realized just how much I loved him! So, I got on a plane and headed home.
When I got home, he broke things off with the other girl and we finally started dating, exclusively! Only a few short months later, he took me back to where we first met and in the rain; he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him! Of course, I said yes!
We were married on June 29th, 2013. Ever since, we’ve been totally in love and now have a beautiful daughter together.
I guess you always want what you can't have, and it worked out for us.
